Impact Investment Ready

Impact Investment Ready is Australia’s largest dedicated investment readiness program, supporting the next wave of businesses and not-for-profit organisations that wish to create tangible societal and environmental impact.

Impact Investment Ready consists of the Growth Grant initiative:

1. Impact Investment Ready Growth Grant 

• The Growth Grant supports enterprises in their growth stage on the journey to investment readiness with grants of up to $140,000.
• The Growth Grant began with the establishment of the Impact Investment Readiness Fund (IIRF) by Impact Investing Australia with seed-funding from NAB in 2014. The IIRF was subsequently renamed the Impact Investment Ready Growth Grant in 2017 and entered its next stage with a broader participation of the community, corporate and philanthropic sectors.
• In November 2018, it was announced that Impact Investing Australia was selected by the Australian Government to administer the $7m Australian Government Sector Readiness Fund (SRF). The SRF aims to enable for-purpose businesses to scale their impact, to address the current gap between the supply of and demand for impact investment opportunities in the Australian market, and to improve social outcomes for groups that benefit from socially focused businesses. Administration of the SRF will be managed through an updated version of the IIA Impact Investment Ready Growth Grant.
